Soundset Hip-Hop Festival

Hip-Hop festivals are hard to come by these days with the majority of festivals focusing on country, rock, or indie pop/alternative bands. Soundset is a perfect mix of new and old hip-hop along with big names and lesser known up and coming stars. Last year Wiz Khalifa and Yelawolf broke onto the scene at Soundset and now are playing to sell-out crowds around the nation. The festival represents Minneapolis' Rhymesayers label which has produced local and nationally recognized acts such as Atmosphere, POS, Brother Ali, Doomtree, and many more. Each year Atmosphere co-headlines the one-day festival with acts such as Dilated Peoples, Method Man & Redman, The Pharcyde, and this years Big Boi from Outkast. Tickets are currently on sale for this one-day festival located at Canterbury Park in Shakopee, Minnesota. The festival is a rain or shine event and the ticket prices include fees and parking and come to $38. VIP tickets are $90 and are for those that are older than 18.
